Very well put and a brilliant read...Brilliant Lucy! Very well put and a brilliant read. And you are absolutely right, mourn the man, cry for his family left behind, and use his brilliant "machines" to do something spectacular to make a real difference. And above all, allow his legacy to shine... In part of CNN's breaking news the night he died, they interviewed some of his friends and co-founders who said that the thing about Steve was that he would hear about someone's idea, no matter how small or trivial the idea or thought (invention), he made them feel like it was the most brilliant thing in the world - and that was because when he saw them, he BELIEVED that to be true. And that could apply to something technological or T-shirt. THAT is what we have to hold on to. THAT is what he was trying to convey in his commencement speech in '05. Live life and make a difference. And don't live each day as if it were your last, live it as if it were your first. And yes, absolutely donate and make a difference to those who are starving in Somalia, by making that donation in honour of his death. But also in honour of life and living, because THAT was his true message, his true legacy.

These "machines", they were a product of his desire to live and to help afford every other person on this planet to live; to connect and to make a difference. We all hold the keys, we just have to apply them and use them.

Love this Lucy and simply MUST share!Leyla Hurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02602428401585578667noreply@blogger.com
